Many young people drink oneself insensible in the festival every year. They were named “Bierleichen”. They were rushed to tent of medical treatment.


“Quiet Oktoberfest” is new idea of the festival. This idea completed in 2005 to make more interesting fest for older person and people who take　their child.


So the steering committee place restriction. For example, they choice quiet back ground music as the wind music in the beer tent until 6 o’clock. After that turn up the volume and change the music genre.Then drinking people enjoy singing and dancing.


These restrictions eradicate the image of the fest as drunken person’s party and keep the mood of traditional beer tent.
